'Corona Creative' Contest
Happy to announce that my photo 'contact distance' was selected in the 'Corona Creative' contest by 'K|Lens', Saarbrücken and is part of a book that can be purchased. The proceeds go to 'Doctors without boarders'.
I love abstract paintings but often feel annoyed when the feeling strikes me it became a substitute for not being able to draw and paint. I think there is difference in quality of a picture as the term points it was abstracted from something. The more experienced an artist becomes the more it seems he doesn't need to abstract from the 'real' world anymore and it still shows his skills.
Rather by accident and looking at other photos I realized that abstraction is possible here too. It became another passion besides minimalism to look for objects in nature or manmade that can be developed and abstracted from something.
Do you prefer realism? Realistic scenes? Structures and figures that show exactly what is there? Or do you also like to open your abstract eyes?
